The 911
Civic Address Numbering System
A 911 Civic
Address Number consists of 3 parts:
1) a civic
number
2) a road
name or number
3) a
community name
When a 911
call is made, 911 emergency operators are able to
identify the phone number, associate it to the 911
Civic Address and dispatch the information to
emergency services. Where a caller can not speak
or is being prevented from speaking, the 911
operator, using the 911 Civic Addressing Numbering
System, can obtain the information, so that help
can be provided as quickly as possible.

DID YOU
KNOW...
... a person
who violates any of the provisions of the by-law
is guilty of an offence punishable on summary
conviction by a fine of at least $20.00 and not
more than $500.00?
... in the
event of contravention of the by-law, in addition
to any prosecution or other remedy, the
Municipality, may serve notice that remedial
action is required and if not completed within 14
days, the Municipality may enter upon the private
property of an owner and undertake the remedial
work and charge and collect the costs of the work,
with interest from the date of the completion of
the work until the date of payment?
